French Cafe' Towels

I made these towels using a graphic design by The Graphic Fairy. I bought some flour sack towels from Wal-Mart for about $5 for 5. I also used light fabric transfer paper and the reverse transfer. This is how they turned out.

Sorry, couldn't turn this picture around.

One is a little off center but I still like them. This is the first time I use transfer paper so I was pretty surprised at how easy it was to work with. Anyway, I hope you like them and try making one or more. They would make a great gift.

To all the soldiers who made the greatest sacrifice we remember you on this day.

Spring Door Wreath

I told you to watch out! Here is my most recent project. I borrowed the idea from Dear Lillie's blog. I tried to link you to her blog. Let's see if it worked. Ha! Here is the wreath hanging on our front door.

I like how she has it on a mirror in her dinning room. I needed something Spring-y for the door.

Message Board a La' BDs

I saw these message boards in Ballard Designs but, they were a bit much for my budget so I tried my hand at making some.

These are the materials I used to make the board.

This is how it turned out. Not too bad! I made two of them and I gave one to my Sister.

This is one of the many projects I worked on a while ago. I just hadn't taken the time sit down and post. I'm still working on getting the pictures where I want on the post. I think I'm getting the hang of this so watch out LOL!
