Finished Guest Bathroom

I finally finished the guest bathroom. I, or should I say We, (had a lot of help from my Hubby) painted the walls a light gray, painted the cabinet a glossy black and added new hardware. My Hubby put in the new light fixture. Changed out the towel racks and with a new shower curtain we were done. Love it!! I still haven't decided or shopped for towels and accessories, the fun stuff, I'll try and post pictures when I put the finishing touches in it :)

ONE DOWN!!

I had my first chemo treatment, One down! I'm not going to think about how many I still have to go. I'm going to rejoice in the fact that I got through this first, big step and faced an awful fear. First I had some blood work then some pulmonary testing. Excuse the spelling, LOL I'm a bit loopy from some of the meds. I'm afraid my spelling isn't very good to begin with so there you go ;) Thanks to my friends Chelsea and Nick from "The Life We Love" blog I had some idea of the steps involced in a Chemo treatment. Didn't make it home 'till almost 7:00 PM because of a lab mixup with some of my blood test but, I hope things will run smoother next time. I hope I feel this good or better in the next few days. (I don't know why this font is italizised but I can't figure out how to change it back right now.) I love my Oncologyst Dr Klein and my nurse for today Angel were awsome!! Feeling blessed and greatful for all my family and friends.

First Chemo Treatment

I'll be starting my chemo treatments in the morning. I was really anxious and we did alot of crying and hugging this morning but, right now I'm just MAD.....this isn't fair! I don't want to do this! I've got to change my attitude! I am going to do everything in my power to get better. I'm going to put myself in the hands of my doctors and my faith in the Lord that I can get through this. I'm strong and I have the support of my family and friends. If you read this I ask for your good, positive thoughts and prayers.

Guest Bathroom

Here are some pictures of the upstairs guest bathroom.

I'd like to paint the walls a neutral gray, paint the cabinet black, put black moulding around the mirror and get new towel racks/tp holder. If the budget allows I'd really like a new light fixture :) I thought I had the paint color but, the color I had picked is looking too much like the color in the dinning room/living room, which I'm not too crazy about.

Gotta Love a Great Deal

My sister and I went to Crate & Barrel Outlet store last week-end. I found these topiary plaques for $6.95 each! I had originally seen them (loved them, but wasn't going to spend that much on them) in the Ballard Designs catalogue for $179 a pc. They are a bit scratched up but nothing a good coat of spray paint can't fix. Excuse the layout; I'm still trying to figure this out.

First post

This is my first post for my blog. I have a long list of projects I'd like to get started on (as soon as the weather gets better). Some of my project ideas have been inspired by other bloggers so I hope you come back and let me know what you think. Olga
